About Us

Dr. Mayer-Eichberger's medical career began at the University Hospital in Tübingen where, after studying mathematics and medicine, he began specialist training at the University Women's Hospital in Tübingen. For two years, Dr. Mayer-Eichberger worked at the Institute of Pathology at the University of Tübingen, where he also obtained a solid basic scientific education.
Dr. Mayer-Eichberger then moved to the University Women's Hospital in Kiel, where, under the direction of Prof. Dr. Semm and Prof. Dr. Mettler, he was involved in the development of artificial insemination and the development and worldwide introduction of endoscopic surgical techniques.
In 1993 Dr. Mayer-Eichberger established his own practice with a focus on endocrinology, reproductive medicine and minimally invasive Gynecological surgery. Since then, he has worked as an attending physician, first at the Staatsrat von Fetzer Klinik, later at the Diakonieklinikum, and today at the Frauenklinik Charlottenhaus with a focus on endoscopic surgery for fertility patients. Since 2003 he has been managing the IVF Centre Practice Villa Haag.

Dr. Mayer-Eichberger is a specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics and was previously practicing clinically in Minden and Ludwigsburg.
She completed her studies and her doctoral thesis at the University of Göttingen and began her advanced training in Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine with her father in the Villa Haag in 2017. Dr. med. Katharina Mayer-Eichberger successfully completed her advanced training as a reproductive physician in 2021.

Dr. Gröger is a specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics with a focus on Reproductive medicine and Gynecological Endocrinology. After completing her studies at the University of Jena in 2004, she began her training as a specialist in Gynecology at the Fertility Centre Dr. Mayer-Eichberger. Further training followed at the Marienhospital Stuttgart, the fertility clinic of Dr. Gagsteiger/Prof. Maas, as well as a substitute at the fertility clinic of Prof. Fuchs. Since February 2020 she has been a member of our team of doctors.
